More About Me
I’ve dabbled in a lot of hobbies: currently I am obsessed with the aerial arts, Ren faires, and archery, but I’ll latch on to anything new that feels fun and expressive. Mostly though, I stick to photography and reading. I am a pretty big fantasy book nerd (I’m currently on a mission to read every Tolkien book). I am also wildly obsessed with nature, especially Alaska’s beautiful landscapes. To be honest, most of the time I’m daydreaming about when I will frolic in the woods or hike next! It’s also why my favorite place to shoot is among the mountains and trees.

Being a creative-inspired soul, photography is the outlet that lets me highlight the beauty and intricacies of people and places. I love to capture the true essence and emotion of people through portraiture and I always look for the raw and authentic pieces of your story!
Aside from that, I also enjoy conceptual photography. It is an artistic way to explore how to experience, feel, and belong, and allows me to create stories that spark understanding and connection.

My Approach
If you couldn’t already tell, I like to approach portraiture through the authentic and wild side of life! While I am always here to guide you through posing ideas for inspiration, I want to capture your essence! Besides, what’s the point of having pictures of you, your partner, or your family if every image looks staged and lacking personality? Most importantly, I want us to have fun! You set the pace and I follow for us to have a great collaborative experience so you can have photos to that capture your spirit!
